When "Land Only" is selected, our system generates an equal-area candidate point and performs fast polygon bounding-box vector tests against Natural Earth continental polygons. If a candidate point lands in open water, it is instantly discarded and regenerated within a microsecond safety budget (up to 250 iterations).
